Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Cracking Flags collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We have written it to be readable, not to bury anything.
What we collect
When you submit a trial request through our website, we collect your name, organisation name, role, and email address. If you opt in to a callback, we also collect your phone number. We collect this information only to respond to your enquiry and set up your trial account.
We do not collect any information passively beyond standard web analytics (page views, referral source, device type) via Google Analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
How we use it
We use your contact details to respond to your trial request and, if you become a customer, to manage your account and send service-related communications. We do not use your information for marketing to third parties, and we do not sell or share it with anyone outside of Cracking Flags and its service providers (such as email delivery).
If you request a callback, we will call the number you provided once. We will not contact you repeatedly without your consent.
Data storage
Your information is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with servers in Australia and the United States. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or for up to two years after your last contact with us if a trial did not proceed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you at any time. To do so, email us at scott@crackingflags.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will respond within five business days.
If you are located in Australia, this policy is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This sets a cookie in your browser to distinguish unique visits. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser with tracking protection enabled. We do not use any other third-party cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify active customers by email. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last updated.
